Terms

Zeiss Terms of Service

These terms describe how quotation requests, technical discussions, product references, and service planning information are handled when you use this website.

Use of information

Information on this website is provided for business-to-business evaluation of analytical instruments, laboratory systems, dimensional metrology tools, sensors, transmitters, and test equipment. It is not a final engineering specification, regulatory approval, or substitute for a controlled quality procedure. Buyers remain responsible for confirming that any selected instrument, service interval, certificate language, and accessory package matches the method, environment, and acceptance criteria used by their organization.

Quotation and technical review

Submitting a form starts a review conversation. A quotation or service recommendation may require additional information such as model family, serial number, operating range, sample type, process media, audit standard, software requirement, fixture configuration, or current calibration status. Zeiss may decline to recommend a product path when the available information is not sufficient to make a defensible technical assessment.

Documentation and service limits

References to ISO/IEC 17025, NIST traceability, ISO 9001, CE, MID, ATEX, CLIA, CAP, IVDR, EPA, AOAC, or other frameworks are context indicators. Actual applicability depends on instrument model, geography, accreditation scope, method, and customer requirement. Service timing, including typical turnaround, may change when intake data is incomplete, repair is required, accessories are missing, or shipping conditions delay receipt.

Customer input accuracy

Technical review depends on the accuracy of the information provided by the customer. If a request omits range, tolerance, media, sample type, software dependency, regional approval, or current service condition, Zeiss may need to revise a recommendation after those facts become available. Customers should verify that all information submitted through the website is authorized for business review and does not include restricted, confidential, patient, or export-controlled data unless a separate written agreement allows that exchange.

Website availability

The website may change without notice as product categories, service practices, or documentation requirements evolve. Zeiss aims to keep content accurate, but technical teams should confirm current specifications and service scope before relying on any statement for procurement, validation, release testing, or audit preparation.
